What Scratch? Victoria Park: It's been a very hectic week and quite flat out with works that I didn't even have the chance to "service" my regular car yard, i.e. John Hughes. Nevertheless , I've attended to their urgent requests by at least attending to cars that are sold and needed urgent attention (i.e. buffing). Yes, it's been a very good week as I had a day with "more than the usual" income target, i.e. $800/day, wow - can't complain.
Next week is forecast to be raining again in Perth thus expect a slowdown as usual but I won't be deterred - that's my spirit. On the subject of Car Scratch Repair, I did a very "challenging" car yesterday which initially deemed to be sent for spray painting all over (boot & roof) but with my usual "let me try first" mentality, I managed to turn it into a "as new" good looking car and saved the owner hips of dollars if it was sent for spray painting, i.e. 75% savings. That's substantial. That's why our service is very much in demand and getting popular due to this cost saving benefits we offer to our customers. Take this, sending your car for spray painting will cost you at least $400-500 depending on complexity (i.e. colour of the car, depth of the scratch, make & age of the car, etc.). With us, you save at least 75% of the cost above, i.e ranging from $160-300 on the same basis above. Of course, it's not always 100% resolved but at least 90% that we restore your car to its glory with a fraction of the cost and by far maintains the original paintwork of the car and not having to worry about overspraying, decolorisation, etc.
As always, please visit our website for "What We Do" & "What We Don't Do" @ www.whatscratch.com.au.
'Till next posting, keep blogging with me. Ciaio

Car Scratch Repair @ What Scratch? Victoria Park: All day today at Holden and did the following cars:
- SV6 (1 Red & 1 Blue metallic)
- SVZ (Red solid)
- Ford Falcon (Acid Rush metallic)
Good enough to sum-up & meet my day's income.
The SV6 Red has a deep long scratch on the right front fender which required heavy brush touch then apply our SSR (Sprayless Scratch Repair) compound to protect the paintwork before paper sanding. This task requires a bit of precaution, though, not to over sandpaper the area as it will burn the paintwork. As a rule, papersand by 10 times "to & fro" only with a PS2000 (or 1200) and also always apply SSR color-based first prior to brush touch then sandpaper the areas delicately after the paint brush has dried up. By sanding the area, I'm attempting to level the "heavy" brush touched paints. I normally resolve the other scratches around the car with our SSR (Thus the SSR, as a patented product, truly is remarkable, efficient and helps a lot in this type of work) while waiting for the "heavy" brush touched area to get dry and resolve it last.
Perhaps, this can be a good tip on how to repair deep scratches and rest assured you'll get better along the way as you encounter more of these issues.
'Till next time, ciao

What Scratch? Victoria Park: To date, I've pretty much did most of the major & popular cars, i.e. European (BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi, Porsche), Japanese (Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Lexus), Korean (Hyundai, Kia), & American (Holden - Australian version of GM, Ford, Hammer). The only car I haven't "buffed" yet is the Ferrari & Lotus as I don't have a yard which sells them.
My yard includes:
1. Young Holden
2. Duncan Nissan
3. John Hughes
4. United Auto Prestige
5. Centrepoint
6. Burswood Honda
7. Motorama
8. BMW Auto Classic
Plus extra (East Vic Park)
9. Ron Mitchell
10. Park Auto
As you can see, most of my yards sell different types & makes of cars and it's really challenging from one car to another but glad to say it's also satisfying to repair various "types & makes" of cars with different paintworks. Some makes are easy to repair scratches & others are "horrible". I won't mention any type or make of the car BUT in the end they are "doable".
Next blog, I will try to list the cars I've done during the day or week just to let my readers & potential clients know what type of cars I've done and abled to do and perhaps describe the "complexity" of the work and how I managed to repair/resolve those nasty scratches.
